Celebrating Baisakhi with Joy and Unity at Saras Heritage School

The festive spirit of Baisakhi came alive at Saras Heritage School as students gathered to celebrate this vibrant harvest festival with joy and unity. The special assembly, thoughtfully hosted by Gauri Gupta and Lipika of Class 5, began with an introduction to the significance of Baisakhi, followed by a soulful rendition of Guru Vandana and the prayer “He Shardey Maa.” The school song echoed with pride as students embraced the values and traditions that make Baisakhi special.

Adding depth to the celebration, Arnav Mishra from Class 7 shared the "Thought of the Day," while a compelling speech on Baisakhi reminded everyone of its cultural and historical importance. An engaging quiz conducted by Anushka of Class 7 tested students’ knowledge in a fun and interactive way. The highlight of the event was the series of energetic dance performances by students from Classes 1 to 5, capturing the essence of Punjabi culture. The celebration concluded with an inspiring address by the Principal Ma’am and the collective singing of the National Anthem - marking the end of a memorable day filled with learning, laughter, and unity.
